We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team serving the growing Boiling Springs, SC community.

Experience is preferred and a current dental hygienist license is required. Our modern, fully digital practices provide restorative care, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, extractions, and implant restorations.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide chair-side assistance to dental providers in the performance of dental procedures including operative, preventive, periodontal, endodontic, prosthetic, and all other dental procedures as needed.
  • Prepare, sterilize, organize, and set-up dental equipment to ensure that all dental sterilization guidelines are followed.
  • Take dental radiographs as instructed by doctor.
  • Provide patient management during dental procedures, including instrument transfer, isolation, oral evacuation, retraction, and preparation of dental instruments and materials to include mixing filling and impression materials, charting examination and treatment results in patients' dental records.
  • Maintain proper maintenance of dental charts and dental forms.
  • Provide patients with written and oral post-operative instructions for dental procedures.
  • Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; i.e. tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
  • Take accurate patient history and vital signs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Dental assisting experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Required) and X-Ray Certification (Required)
